Talbot was born in 1972 in Johannesburg. He obtained his B Proc degree at the PU for CHO in Potchefstroom and was admitted as an attorney in 1999 and as conveyancer in 2008. He obtained a Diploma in Corporate Law from Unisa in 2004.
