ITC Clearance & Credit

Record Assistance

Sadler Inc Attorneys assists clients with credit record advice, ITC clearance enquiries, credit bureau disputes, paid-up listings, prescribed debt issues, incorrect or outdated adverse information, and judgment-related credit listings.

The correct process depends on the nature of the listing and the facts of each matter. In some cases, the appropriate step may be to dispute incorrect information with the credit bureau or credit provider. In other cases, a judgment may first need to be rescinded or dealt with legally before the credit record can be updated.

We do not guarantee that any listing will be removed. We assess the matter, advise on the available legal remedies, and assist with the appropriate process where there are valid grounds to do so.

Please note that ITC clearance, credit record advice and related legal assistance are professional services and are not offered free of charge. Fees will be quoted or confirmed before work is undertaken.

FAQ's

Clearing your credit record with ITC Clearance and other Credit Bureau’s is a straightforward process that involves obtaining a copy of your credit report, identifying any negative information that needs to be cleared and taking the necessary steps to address it. Once the negative information has been addressed and removed from your credit report, your credit score will improve making it easier for you to obtain credit and loans in the future. The clearance process may involve:

  • Payment on outstanding debts under repayment terms that you are able to afford;
  • Removal of any judgements against your name which will currently make it extremely hard to apply for any further credit applications.

When you have a record of non-payments, defaults on your monthly instalments or judgments and debts that are in arrears, the credit bureau lists this information as a negative listing, that reflects on your credit profile.

You will not be able to apply for further credit until the listing is removed. In some instances you will not be able to apply for a new job, if your credit record is not clear.

A listing cannot be removed from your name if the debt is not paid in full.

After you have submitted your online application, we will request the following documents from you:

  • Copy of your ID
  • Proof of residence
  • Paid in full letters.
